Frank Douglas is one of our Local Monitors living in Selby. He provides feedback on behalf of Broadacres residents living in around 70 homes on his estate.
Frank says: “I have lived here for 18 years and have always taken great pride in my home and community, so when the opportunity arose to become a Local Monitor I was glad to get involved
“Broadacres are always very responsive and while they don’t always get things right, they do 95% of the time and nobody in life is 100% perfect, so they are doing a good job as far as I am concerned.
“Being a Local Monitor enables me to get around the community speaking to residents, which I enjoy, and you get a lot of satisfaction when something you have raised is taken up and actioned.
“My view is that it is easy to complain and not do anything about it, so by getting involved you get a much greater insight into how an organisation like Broadacres works and how staff work hard to help you.”
