What you need to do to end your tenancy
Thank you for being a Broadacres customer and living in one of our homes. We are sorry that you want to leave us, but we know that circumstances can change. Please read the information below which will help you.
Giving notice
You must give us four weeks written notice before your tenancy can end. If you would like to end your tenancy with Broadacres, please refer to the document below and complete the “Notice to end a tenancy”. You will need to print the form, complete it and return it to us by post, as we require a signature from you.
Once you have given notice we will:
- Contact you confirming the date your tenancy will end
- Arrange to visit you to inspect the condition of your home before you leave
You must;
- Pay your rent until the end of your tenancy and complete any outstanding repairs that you are responsible for
- Clear your home of all your belongings and make sure it is clean and tidy, including the garden, when you leave
Damage to your property;
If we find that you have damaged your home, you will be charged for the repair.
How to end your tenancy leaflet

You must end your tenancy by filling in a ‘Notice to end a tenancy’.
This form is included at pages 4 to 8 of the ‘How to end your tenancy leaflet’.
